Oklahoma City Sale Time for Houses Decreases in February

Home sales slipped in February, but the average price was up compared with year-ago numbers, according to the Oklahoma City Metro Association of Realtors. Realtors handled the sale of 971 houses, down 2.6 percent from February 2009, but the average price of $149,025 was up 6.7 percent, the Realtors said. Houses took an average of 85 days to sell in February, nine days faster than in February 2009.  February ended with 7,993 homes listed for sale, 374 more than in January, but 593 fewer than in February 2009, per the association.
